Alex Louis

Alex is currently managing communications and engagement work on the 'A picture of Health' project for Verve after completing an assignment as interim Head of Communications for Tower Hamlets Council.

Alex is a board level strategic communicator with 18 years experience predominately in the public and voluntary sector. As an interim manager Alex has led the communication and customer services function at the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC); managed communications and marketing restructuring and change management programmes at Haringey Council, The College of North East London (now College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London) Croydon Council and the IPCC.

Alex's previous clients have included seven London local authorities including Newham, Camden, Hackney and Waltham Forest, and a number of national bodies including the HEA (Health Education Authority) and Shelter. She also advised the University of Westminster on the introduction of a degree in Public Communications and Public Relations, was a tutor on the award-winning 'Creative Connections' BBC sponsored training course, and is a qualified change management practitioner. Alex is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and a member of the CIPR's diversity working group.
