Colin Beesting

Colin Beesting is an experienced senior manager working across the full communications mix delivering consultation and engagement, stakeholder management, brand management, marketing, press, public affairs and online. He is currently acting as Verve's lead consultant on engagement and consultation for the Orpington Health Services Project as part of the project team for NHS South East London and NHS Bromley.

This involves close working with a complex network of internal and external stakeholders including LINks, emerging CCGs, PCT and cluster boards & senior executives and local authority partners. Colin has been delivering marketing and communications programmes in NHS, public and voluntary sector organisations for the past 15 years and was embedded as part of the team at NHS Bromley when their community services became a social enterprise. Before joining Verve, Colin led the marketing for the BFI (British Film Institute), setting up a new marketing operation, introducing a new brand and seeing the organisation through the opening of a venue on London's South Bank. For Arts Council England, he led External Relations programmes for two of their major development programmes - Creative Partnerships and decibel - managing complex relationships across government and working with a national network of offices to deliver communications programmes.
